This page is devoted to sculpture, ceramics, and virtually any object that is not printed on paper.

The images below are a few examples of 3D printing. Having a printer at my studio has given me the chance to create objects with more precision than I have had before not to mention it has brought computer generated designs into the real world. For printmaking, custom type can be created and printed all in-house. Additionally, there are times when a more manufactured aesthetic is my intent, and having that creative option is a real treat.

Necessity is the mother of invention. In this case, having a camera rig that met my specific needs was needed so printing a few parts helped develop a rig that fit nicely in a tight spot without sacrificing a fluid camera movement.

The images below are monoprints made on ceramic tiles. These images are transferred onto leather hard clay. The tiles are bisque fired, glazed and fired again to maturity. The next step is to add transferred prints to slip cast work made from the 3D printer.
